That is truly one fine looking truck. Makes me drule thinking of a longer bed. However, wonder how long the front wheel unit bearings are going to last with those very heavy 22.5's bolted up. I thought 19.5 were heavy. Love to see it as a crew cab.

I saw a similiar truck at a campground, but it had a step side and was done up like the little red express dodge built years back. It was 4500 chassis quad cab, very nice and very big!

Yep, I mentioned it!

That is indeed a very nice truck!

Wheelbase looks longer than a 60" cab/axle length cab/chassis truck, but not as long as an 84" cab/axle length. Looks like the rear frame ends have been chopped too, as cab/chassis usually have 48" rear overhang frame rails and pickups usually have about 42" or so.

Looks good with the lift and 22.5's. For me, I would prefer the 19.5's and no lift kit, for a lower bed floor height to make the truck more usable as a pickup for hauling cargo. The extra long pickup bed does look very nice on the truck. It's a natural. Certainly would look nice with a Quad Cab too. I dont care for the big SRT scoop in the hood, but the high bubble shape does look nice, as do the body-color front wheel flares. Not sure I like the quad exhaust tips. I prefer the big single pipe typical on diesels.

Nice looking, but a really old idea.

In 1965 you could order the GMC long bed trucks. Nine
foot something. You could order 19.5" wheels, or
17.5" wheels, as dealer-installed options. You could order
4WD done as an aftermarket kit. Patient and well-connected
people could order the 478 CID V6 in place of the standard
305 CID V6 or the optional 351 CID V6. Heck, even crew
cab conversions were available.

This one probably has better brakes.

Your right it would be out of place sitting beside a BMW with the owner booking an appointment to get his manicure because he received a hang-nail while golfing!
