Every time I see the Red Lobster commercial with the butter dripping off the brush as it flows over the lobster & shrimp I get so hungry!
Do you have a favorite food commercial?

Love the Red Lobster one and, I believe, Subway's pastrami sandwich. In HD, they look delicious.

I am NOT a fan of carl jr's Teriaki 6$ burger AD with that woman in the bikini dripping sauce all over her body. Disgusting to me using "cheescake" to sell a burger.

I have to comment on that commercial. I don't know if you've actually ever eaten at the Red Lobster, but I have. Those commercials and what is in front of you on your plate are two completely different dishes.
I could not believe how they "blow up" the shrimp. The shrimp are the size of a quarter in real life.
Thank goodness for DVR's.

When I saw the subject, my first thoughts were about that exact commercial! Now, as Rollincool noted, if only it actually looked like that when you got there...
Most commercials don't cause me to drool or get excited, but that one does it to me every time!
The last time I got so worked up over a commercial was about 20 years ago. I was in the hospital for about 10 days, with a throat that was almost swollen shut, and while I was constantly hungry, the only thing I could swallow was salty beef broth -- nothing solid, nothing sweet. I couldn't eat anything, I couldn't go anywhere, I couldn't sleep, and I couldn't do much but watch network TV (no cable channels.) It seemed like every 10 minutes was one of the commercials from Burger King's "Aren't you Hungry?" campaign. BK isn't my favorite place, but being in that state, those commercials looked really good! Every time they asked "Aren't you hungry" all I wanted to do was shout back "Yes I am, now leave me alone!"

Ditto the Red Lobster commercials. dThey make me want to eat the screen. The actual food falls a little short in appearance but is still yummy.
OTOH Carl's drippy burger commercials don't do anything for me. I do not understand where they got the idea that food slobs make good spokespersons for their products but DW keeps reminding me that the producers are from a different generation.

It has been a long time since I've eaten at a red lobster, I'm allergic to shrimp in any form and am afraid of they way they cook in the kitchen and cross over contamination
