Looking through an old file I found a 2004 Lance brochure. That's the model year for my 915. Looking at the old brochure I was struck by the number of changes Lance has made in just five years. In 2004 Lance listed 15 camper models my new 2009 brochure lists 15 as well but most are new since 2004. Here's how they line up:

2004-----------2009

------------------805
815------*------815
820
821
------------------825
------------------830
835------*------835
845------*------845
------------------861
915------*------915
920
921
------------------971
------------------981
------------------992
1010
1025
1030
------------------1040
------------------1055
1071
1121
1130
1161
------------------1181
------------------1191

Wow only 4 models are the same that's lots of change in just 5 years.
Also Lance has gone from all wood frames and no basements to almost all Aluminum frames and many models with basements.
Lance must have done this in response to what we the consumers want.

Not yet my 915 is still offered. Though somewhat changed and I don't like some of the changes.

Not really, when you look at those "new" prices! Paid for is good. I'm still not buying into the kool aid about truck campers are so much more that trailers, C's etc. because they must have specialized frames and the other reasons that make them cost so much.

881 is not in 2004 or 2009 brochures, so it must have come and gone in between.

No, not yet. I don't like some of the changes either, but if they offered the Tundra fridge as a factory installed option...
