There's often rigs parked on the WalMart lot - Thatcher Ave (Road/Street ???) - east side of town. If you are coming from the west turn onto Thatcher after you go by the big moose. Coming from the east if you get to the moose you have missed the turn.

I have stayed there too.. great spot to overnight. right on the highway.

Buffalo Pound Provincial Park is very nice and about 20 minutes north. The Prairie Oasis is probably the best for a overnight stop or city basecamp.
