My searching is not very good on this forum.
My question is----Does any one here use stabilizer jacks on their Class B MH.
Thanks in advance

Are you talking about installed hydraulic jacks or the manual type? There is really not enough room for the hydraulic type. The manual type could be installed, but in my opinion you would have a clearance problem as they tend to hang down. This is not as much problem in a trailer or class A as they tend to be higher than a B. Some people have carried car jacks and stabilized with them, I think that is too much trouble but it's just my opinion.

I have never seen one either but I have read, perhaps on this forum of at least one. A number of people have talked about using automotive jacks. When we purchased our B, I inquired, because my spouse loved our jacks on our class A, about installing them on the B. I was told it could be done, but the expense was high and I didn't think we needed them anyway. Bs are so much easier to level than larger rigs. Our B has only used blocks 3 times in the last 4 years, maybe I am just lucky.

Many B users don't park in one place long enough to take the time to us leveling jacks. We never use anything to level, a couple of times I wish I had, but since it's only been for 1 night, I get by.

I have seen one Roadtrek at a rally with suto hydraulic stabilizer jacks. It was my opinion that they did hang rather low. Is it possible to use Firestone air shocks in the rear to stabilize?

Thanks for replys. I was just wondering and yes I was talking about the hydraulic ones. I have been out in our B about 12 days travelling around and only used blocks once.

I inquired about leveling jacks and was told that they are available for a C but not for a B. Since they are the same in front I don't see why the same thing wouldn't work on a B. Some of the newer Class A's use three point levelers instead of 4 to avoid twisting the frame, so the rear jack could be attached to the trailer hitch receiver. I think all would have to be manual jacks instead of hydraulic, but it could be done. After I became less paranoid about having the rig exactly level, I lost interest in the jacks.

The very first B I looked at was a late-90's Dodge RT 190 on a dealer's consignment lot in Boone, NC. It had four small-ish scissor jacks welded to the frame, ahead of the front wheels and about 1/2 way between the back ones & the bumper. You can just see them in the photo below....
.
I assume they were run down either by hand crank, or with a cordless drill-driver. I dunno how much 'leveling' (lifting) they'd be capable of, but I suspect thay did a good job of stabilizing.
And, no, I've never seen another B so equipped...
(The long black tube on the roof was a surf-fishing rod carrier, BTW. It was held on by large U-bolts drilled thru the roof into the interior. I really couldn't see any un-noticeable way to undo that.)

The four scissor jacks on my old vintage Airstream trailer were for stabilizing not for level adjustment according to the user manual. You still had to block under the jacks. The jacks could do some very minor level adjustment but the hitch jack was the main source of level adjustment front to back.
