Just want to hear what others have done to load a big sound system in their TH.
Stock doesn't count--a lot of TH's are coming with the built in amp, sub and outside little car speakers. I want to hear what people have done when they REALLY want to get their party on.
I DJ on the side. A large group of friends came with us to the Kenny Chesney concert in Seattle. We tailgated with a pair of my JBL dual 15" stacks, through a Mackie 1400i pro amp, on a Behringer 16 channel mixer.
Had to run the genny from 9am till we left for the concert at 4pm, went through almost a quarter tank of gas!

we do a party trip in october and im taking 2 behringer powered 12" pa cabinets, 1 ported 18" powered by a crown 602, bbe processor, numark mixer. but the sound system in my th doesnt suck. 4- 6.5" kicker coax, 1 comp vr kicker sub on a 350.4. the outside speakers suck. and the sub is run free air for now. but thats about to change. it will be big and ported before im thru. and the outside is gonna change too.

The Sand Wizards club in Oregon had a HUGE setup at Dunefest.
DJ setup, big speakers, strobes, neon, fog machine...the works.
All powered by one of those industrial diesel genny's on a trailer like you would see at a construction site.....with about 20 extension cords and TH cords plugged in
I have a video/audio setup. I use a NEC 1080P projector to blast the music videos on the side of my warrior, a laptop with 1Terrabyte external hard drive with +60gigs of music videos, +40gigs of music, and movies on there, 15 piece speaker with 10in sub system. It does the job but my WW has the Sony/Rockford "rock the box" system which isnt shabby by any means. 1000watt amp, 12 inch sub, external 6X9's, and like 10 speakers inside.

Hey birdman7389, you must have been @ DF! Yes, we Sand Wizards Racing (SWR) have a great sytem. Everything runs off of a very small 1000w gen actually. The large diesel gen you saw was providing power to all of the haulers & trailers in the lot off of the spyder boxes provided by United Rentals.
The large sound system was purchased by our club funds for events such as our annual Dune Clean up & Dunefest as well! We do try to through the best party and have a great time! Everyone is invited!

Yep, is this Jay? I'm Danny's airdale CG buddy Chris, nice to meet you guys up there. We are definitely coming up for the dune clean-up next year, it's pretty much my new favorite place ever.
Crap! I remembered when I used to get a woody listening to the James Gang on my deluxe pioneer 8 track with quadraphonic speaker system with the volume maxed out in my 74 chevy van! What a rush!!!!!!!
