Ah, is that an 0-4-0 or an 0-6-0 saddle tank engine? Is it a Baldwin? Can't tell from that angle
I used to go camping and ride the Knox & Kane railroad in western PA (2-4-2 Mikado from China) until a tornado took out the Kinzua Viaduct, putting them out of business.
So where is your railroad at?

I have only spent 1 night in a real campground in the last 4 years. My trips are for Star Parties in dark sky parts of the country. Most of these are without power, or limited to 110 volt 15 amp.
We generally have several hundred people attend these week long events and do nightly observing and imaging, and attending workshops and vendor booths during the days.
My wife does dog agility competitions and I am thinking about going with her to some and see what it is like to camp in fairgrounds. Of course I want to move up to a Class A for this.

While we do use our TT for camping quite a bit, the main reason I got it is for dog agility trials. I got sick of looking for hotels that would take my dog, then paying a big fee for it, then still being 30-40 minutes away from the trial site. Now I just park in the field near the rings, along with the other incorrigibles, and walk back and forth as needed.

We don't really camp. We use out TT for travel (with photography, sightseeing, etc) and snowbirding.

We do use ours for camping but as I near retirement, we hope that we will be using it more for travel (especially south to warmer climes). I do have a friend who uses her teardrop trailer to attend dog races.

We use ours to comfortably stay at bluegrass festivals.
Dh may jam with other musicians till the wee hours of the morning, while I'm snoozing in the trailer, the sounds of tenor voices, fiddle, string bass, guitar, banjo and mandolin in the distance.
We haven't yet been camping for camping's sake, as we're too busy with music-related activities on the weekends.
Nice to see others' hobbies.

Hi Sellador,
Nice looking Sheltie, that is what we have as well. Here is a shot of our young boy during a run.

My wife uses ours as a traveling bathroom!
We consider ours the "little house" and take it basically anywhere we travel overnight from home. Shopping, visiting family, vacations, etc. Sometimes in a campground, sometimes not.
It is nice not having to find and use a public restroom.

We are seriously investigating a TT or MH to support our radio controlled airplane biz. There are lots of outdoor shows and a few without hotels close by.
We have RV'd a little in the past and enjoy the camping aspect of it also.

Here is a pic of a smaller star party I go to in rural Ga. Some nice rigs show up to these.
