Anybody know a good park near The Woodlands? I will be staying another week and would much rather stay in my own bed. I see one near Conroe, but are there others?

Any input appreciated!!

I think it is called the woodland lakes RV park or resort. It is a smaller park, just about one mile off I-45. I cannot remember the cross highway , but it is only about one exit from the Woodlands mall. We like it and have stayed there numerous times while visiting a son there.

I am headed to the Woodland Lakes RV Park myself. I-45 south exit 79, Hwy 242 about 1.4 miles to the east, on the right. Also in the area is Rayford Crossing, I think exit 73, best consult woodalls or Trailer Life on this one.

Safe travels Bill.

I think that Rayford Crossing is the RV park that the other poster is thinking of . We have been there many times over the past 4 years. It is a nice park, with concrete pullthrus, a nice pool and great rally hall. On the minus side, it is pretty pricey, there are no trees on the sites and it can be difficult to get a space there. Access is down a narrow road for about a mile. After I saw 6 Prevosts coming down the road, leaving Rayford Crossing, I stopped worrying about how narrow that road was.

Omega Farms in Willis!!!!! Just 10 miles north of Conroe. As soon as you see the exit to Willis turn left to go over the bridge and turn left again at the light. The next right is next to McDonalds, go down about 3/4 of a mile and it's on your right.

A beautiful campground!! You won't be disappointed

Check out Spring Oaks at Spring. It's a mobile home park with an area for rv's. Most of them are fulltimers. The pads are concrete, there are lots of trees, it's clean and neat (no junky sites), and we always found it to be very quiet.
