The hottest we've camped in was 95 and humid and our site was in the direct sunlight "without trees" and we experienced no condensation.
We did have reflective tarps cut to size on each end and this made a considerable difference and is the only time we needed them.
On that particular trip we did have to leave the AC running all day but we were comfortable inside.
I rigged the tarps so that they were not touching the tentage which is why PUGS are so effective but again...we've found them to be unnecessary in most cases other then direct exposure to the sun.
We had a pup the past 5 summers in Rushmore, NE Oklahoma and Topsail Hill in Florida (the past 3 summers). We never had a problem with condensation, and didn't cover the bunk ends until this summer.
We have a canvas roof and use a window A/C. We do not have condensation problems -- but we do not camp when the outside temps reach 85. We found the little A/C cannot cool the camper to our satisfaction when the heat goes over 85 degrees.
But otherwise, no moisture issues inside the camper.
