We're here at Camp Waubeeka/Copake NY, visited with Mike & Sandy and are heading back and going out for dinner soon...all is well here.
It really is too bad they cannot attend this year's rally, but we'll be seeing them somewhere soon I'm sure.
Nancy and I had a nice trip up here today, cats traveled well so that was good...we toured the area in the Jeep before visiting w/LocoMike and FreedomTrain, Nancy likes the rural nature of the area compared to our "dog eat dog" existence!
We'll be on our way to Danforth Bay tomorrow morning, cya all there soon.
Wow I miss a few days online and have three pages to catch up on.
Mike and Sandy we are going to miss you guys so like Jay said lets try for a mid winter rally.
Due to my work schedule we are going to leave MA around 6am on Saturday morning and arrive around 9 so Jay please keep the coffee on
To all of you that are travelling today, have a safe journey. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow (or Sat.). We should be there between 5:00 and 5:30 depending on traffic.
Hutch, I will have my little spot light too for the cooking area if we need it.
It looks like the only bad weather will be Friday's potential rain. We will be heading up during the day Friday, but I can't nail down a time. If it's raining then we'll be in no hurry. I still have a fair amount of prep work to do, spent most of this week commuting on the train into Beantown. Long days...
Really looking forward to getting away this weekend, despite my lack of chatter here. Mike, who's gonna make me breakfast now? I'm sure everything will be fine on your side, but I understand your commitments. We'll be talking about... I mean thinking about you guys.
I'll keep the RV semi-winterized and ready to go on a days notice.
CC Jack, 2 new topics, ozonating water and solar power. The wheels have been turning here.
See you all tomorrow, can't wait.
Steve
Run, rabbit run.
Dig that hole, forget the sun,
When at last the work is done
Don't sit down it's time to dig another one.
We're here in the safari field at Danforth Bay, people are arriving early this year, a little more than last year I would say.
Greg arrived about an hour after we did (we got here around 3:00 pm), he's all set up, his first time in the SF with us I believe...his daughter and wife come up tomorrow.
Joey and Linda Brown (Nancy's brother and his wife) arrived today as well, staying in the cabins. We took a drive into North Conway and had dinner at the Lobster Trap, very nice.
Just waiting for the moment of truth, can the Red Sox win a playoff game?
Well after last night the Sox can't afford to give up anymore , so hopefully they'll turn it around in game two, three and four in this short five game series.
I hope to be leaving by 2:30pm, probably still going to hit traffic, so I don't expect to arrive until 6pm at the earliest.
