Good morning ralliacs!

A chilly evening but another great weather day forecasted for today.

We're going to cookout again this afternoon, hot dogs, hamburgers, etc...I have a 6 layer dip w/tortilla chips coming out. If anyone has hot dog/hamburger rolls, we may need them.

Steve and Liz won for best costume again last night, but not for best site, but their record remains intact.

The community fire attendance dwindled rather quickly last night as it got down to 40 degrees, but yours truly, Steve, Liz and Dave hung in there till almost 11:00 pm.

No gold dollar coins were handed out last night to trick or treaters, a major disappointment. There was a short motherly woman controlling our candy tables like a drill sargeant, she sure was scaring those little angels looking for a handout...must have been her costume.

I did have my grab your balls shorts on and other assorted accessories, and the Yankee ball was out as well...someone has pics.

Cya soon back online, live from Danforth Bay.

Congrats to Steve & Liz on their 1st place award for costumes!

Per usual they were over the top in creativity!

Concrats to CC Jack on Guessing the correct number of Candy Corn in the jar!

Well its going to be an earlier than usual departure for us this weekend, unfortunately( or fortunately for some) we will be leaving this morning and missing the second half of the Rally .

Being our last trip of this disappointing season, we have certainly had some great weekends , just been disappointing that we wern't able to get in our usual 12-14 trips in. So 7 will be it for this year, hopefully next spring we can start making up for this season.

The hard work will begin this afternoon, unpacking all of the perishables, clothing, then flushing, cleaning and winterizing. Hopefully I can get the TT behind the house tomorrow and move the Sled trailer into position for the getting ready season for snowmobiling.

OK GERRY I SAID IT SNOW! SNOW! SNOW! Cold, White, Frozen Stuff! lol

With the closing of each camping season brings a heavy heart... God willing we'll all be back for another fun packed season staring in April and hopefully for us we can get back to our routine and start in Myrtle Beach. So let the Rally continue, and start thinking about next season!

Sounds and looks like everyone had and is still having a good time....

but we had a sighting today, not a Loch Ness, Big Foot or Elvis.....

Sandy & I were heading up to see her Mom, when on Rte. 23 at a gas station as we drove by... we had a Bubba sighting.........

hope everyone has a safe trip back home....

guess it will be time to start talking Spring Rally...

Hi all

Well nearly twelve hours after my last post we are officially done for the season , The pink stuff is the pipes and tomorrow it will be time to put the TT into hibernation for six months, . I started to move the plows around so hopefully tomorrow the shift will have taken place with the TT behind the house and the sled trailer in the on deck spot for the upcoming season.

After a long summer sports sseason the only bright thing on the sports front today was Jeff getting his LL Jacket and graduating from LL and hopefully onto the Babe Ruth league. Looks like the Sox are out of it, and the Pats came apart in over time, doesn't look to promising for TB and his cohorts this season

I hope you all enjoy that brisk New Hampshire air tonight while you're hanging by the fire, I'm sure you'll be burning down some propane tonight! I'm tempted to fire up the Pellet stove tonight, just so I don't have campfire withdrawels, lol

So happy ralling, and God willing we'll see you all in the spring!

Hey all, we made it home safely. Not really much traffic to speak of, only the typical traffic going through Concord.

Another fun rally enjoyed by all. Thanks to Hutch and Celia for the Friday night food and to everyone else for the delicious dishes and contributions. Greg, thanks for all the firewood. We needed it this weekend. As usual, it was a weekend of good laughs. It was a bit nippy by the fire at night, but this is fall in NH. I had to scrape my table cloth this morning due to a thick frost. Looks like we got out just in time... looks like snow is forecast for up in that area tomorrow.

It was nice to meet some newcomers to our rally and good to see Ray and Elaine who stopped in for a short visit.

Gerry, hope you enjoyed your trip up the cog today! Looks like you had a great day for it. W left you some firewood so you could keep warm tonight.

Hope everyone has a safe trip back home.

Hi All

I hope everone has enjoyed the remaining day (s) of the rally and has had a safe trip home.

Just a little update.......

Well everything went well today for Beth, I guess all that pre medicating did the trick . Intial lab reports showing no c-cells, by Friday we should have the full report, whew . She has to keep her foot elevated for the next three to five days and stay off her feet for the next three weeks . I told her that if you want to sled this season, you have to follow DR's orders!

Been busy all afternoon, Anthony came over and helped me take the five AC units out and put them away. I also moved a few plows, dug the sled trailer out and slipped the TT behind the house. Now everything is in its place for the winter. Little later I have a 8.5' plow that I want to put together, but.......

Somebody is craving Chinese Food, , so before that somebody starts hobbling out the door, I guess I have to go and get some Pork Flied Lice, otherwise she may start self medicating... AGAIN!

Talk to you all soon!

Probably the best trip home ever from Danforth. Even rt 25 was a breeze. What a difference when Mike doesn't take down any trees! Thanks to everyone for the Friday night food, the massive amounts of firewood, and of course the great company.

Everyone was really pooped out from the weekend.

Run, rabbit run.
Dig that hole, forget the sun,
When at last the work is done
Don't sit down it's time to dig another one.

Maybe all your cat needed was a little spooning from Meika in order to sleep this weekend!

BTW, Meika pooped when she got home, looked a bit odd, had a candy wrapper in it.
