Sorry to hear you have had such bad luck. Judging by the amount of complaints I've seen on here it sounds like you got a lemon. I hope everything works out for the best. Good luck

That's one reason, but not the only one, that I would not have a HTT.

What's "one reason"? Because you might get a defective/lemon from a manufacturer? I'm willing to bet my life savings I could hit every forum in here and find someone who bought one.

While you're full of such helpful information, stop by all the forums and let them know why you wouldn't purchase that type of RV... I'm sure everyone is holding their breath just waiting for you to drop your wisdom on them!

-----anyhow-----

What's done is done and I highly doubt FR will let it leave the factory without being fixed up perfect. If all else fails, have FR trade you straight up for a 2010. Like Bikendan said above, every "return to the factory" story I've read on here has been a positive one. We're waiting until Winter shows up and then we'll have the kit put on ours.

Sorry to hear of your problem.
When we went to buy a new trialer, I refused to look at HTT due to water and condensation issues.
I am sure FR will deliver for you.

I certainly understand how you and your family could be discouraged from this unfortunate situation with your hybrid but i'm comfident FR will do the right thing.

I'm one of the many thousands of hybrid owners who have had no issues with leaking or condensation and when it was time to upgrade we went with another hybrid, its truly the best way to camp.

Keep your head up and allow FR to redeem themselves so that you can experience what hybrid camping is all about.

Tons of water?

This sounds like a manufacturing defect if the body is bowed. I'm surprised, however, that the problem didn't surface sitting on the dealers lot for two years. Or did it?

Three saturated bath towels worth...

...and the thought has definitely crossed my mind on the latter of your post. I now ask myself - why a 2008 was indoors on the showroom floor, just to try and move it, ...maybe???

Wow....What a timely post. We purchased our 2009 21ss in April from RVW. It was "Custom" made for us at the FR factory in late March early April 2009. We have had the same issue of water getting into the front bunk while parked in our driveway. Last weekend I did some investigation to find the cause of the leak and I was surprised to find what you are describing....The upper frame of the unit where the top of the front bunk meets it is bowed inwards creating a gap in the middle. The bunk door is perfectly straight...The seal is in great shape...I have not measured the amount of inward bow but it has to be around 3/4 inch. It is very noticable when viewed from the right vantage point. Please let me know how FR handles this. It sounds like yours is not an isolated occurance and there may be more out there with the same issue. I have not contacted RVW yet about this as they have there own specific warranty claim procedures that I have to find and follow.

My 2010 Roo21ss hasn't leaked, yet. We camped in the rain in July, dove home in the rain (20 minutes in a serious thunderboomer and down pour) and it's been rained on here at home with no leaks. Based on what I have read, I keep checking and have found nothing.

Also, I haven't had a condensation problem with my Roo or the pups we have owned with AC. Actually, I haven't had any condensation inside at all, ever. I never knew it was an issue until I started reading about it.

Hmmmnm, too much pressure on the bunk top pole perhaps? Just thinking outloud.
