We would be interested also. We live in North Raleigh. Our Flagstaff was taken to the dealer in Sanford yesterday to return to Forest River in Indiana for some repairs. It will not return to us until approx. the first week in October. Sept. is gonna be a long month. We have a trip planned Oct. 17 in Cherokee/Pigeon Forge and then to Boone for 8 days. Dream Catcher better be home by then. We go camping often, so maybe we can go together sometime.

We are located in High Point, NC and are part of the Carolina Runaways. It's a good groups with people located in both North and South Carolina. I personally do a lot of camping in the Salisbury, NC and Asheville areas. It would be good to see some more NC people join the group.

I camp with the Carolina runaways also. greast bunch of people of mixed ages. No heavy drinking and everyone has a good time. the children are good kids and get along well together also. Our next big event is in Cheraw in early November. Of course there will be other events before then. Pleased to meet you other camping folks on here!

I'm in VA, near VA Beach, but for what it's worth... unless you're looking for an established camping club those of you that live in or near Raleigh why don't you get together at some campground and talk about starting your own camping club and watch others come to you? This may not be at all what you want but it's a thought.

I belong to a family camping club in NC. It is called Family Campers and RVers(FCRV). We are a nationwide club with state chapters across the state. I live in Greensboro and belong to a club out of Thomasville. We have a club in Raleigh called the Raleigh Roadrunners. The president is Larry and Betty Stone.
You can go to the state website: www.ncfcrv.org to contact them. We are having a statewide campout in Mt Airy, at the Mayberry Campground starting on Oct. 2-4.
Everyone is welcome to come. We are having a fall festival at this campout. If you would like further info you can contact me directly by PM me. We are a very family oriented group.
