I hope my 09 Jayco Eagle urns out to be a good one! I had lots of heartburn before buying a TT and hope it does not continue.

What is the best built camper? ...

That was the question we had a some years ago when looking for our first travel trailer. After attending a few RV shows, many dealer visits and years of research we narrowed down our selection to Airstream and Bigfoot. We eventually purchased a Bigfoot and never regretted the decision.

We just bought a new 2008 Wilderness 240 RKS by Fleetwood (RIP is right)!
got a great deal and really think it's a quality made trailer.
Had a 2006 Jayco that was ok but lacked the interior quality that this one has.

We have the same trailer, and love it. We've had a couple of small issues, but they were taken care of right away. I think it is a quality trailer.

Me too.. I was talking about wintertime with my new 09 Jayco.. My RV place said with the rubber roof you have to make sure you maintain and inspect them on a yearly basis, as the rubber will or can peel away from the top seams...
Having owned the molded fiberglass trailers and not having to worry about any seams.. the maintaince is very simple compared to the Stickys ( thats what I call them)

So far I have been happy with my little T.T....

but as someone said.. every trailer manufactor can have 'lemons".... is there a lemon law against trailers as there is cars???

Arctic Fox/Nash by Northwood are really well made trailers. Ron Nash has recently also taken over a former Fleetwood factory and is now producing some previous Fleetwood floor plans like the 24RKS under the name Outdoors RV. You can see them under the Timber Ridge name at www.broadmoorrv.com At this time, there are no pictures or floorplans out on the Outdoors RV website yet, but they are in production.

While I do not own a Heartland, I am impressed by their quality. It seems top notch and seems like they paid attention to small details.

We are considering a Heartland North Country 27BHS. Can any owners state their experiences?

I was impressed with their videos on the website (http://www.heartlandrvs.com/). It may be all marketing, but their attention to detail is what I like. They do things that I have not seen other manufactures do.

That's great! The 240 RKS is an awesome floorplan. The Timber Ridge is identical to our Wilderness 240 RKS.

IMO, they're all junk. Look for a model that's going to be least expensive to fix if problems arise. If you don't plan on keep the trailer long, than that may not be a priority.

Myself, don't know if I'd buy another RV with the poor quality all makers have today. A quality canvas tent is cheaper and more reliable, and a lot less maintanence and maintenence expense.

Have a good one.

I've been looking into an Evergreen TT. They are new so if they are going to stand-up over time is anyone's guess. They seem to be different in a good way... found this youtube video which is a decent resource.

Being new to your site I enjoyed everyones input on different trailer makes. I just traded in a 2007 32 foot toy hauler called a weekend warrior. We took it on a trip this last spring and hit two snow storms during the trip. We found that due to lack of unsulation anywhere in them the water line from fresh water froze and we used over 5 yes 5 gallons of propane in one night. I like to froze to death changing tanks as the change over valve also froze. Furnace ran 24/7 and we were still not warm.
We ended up buying a left over 2008 Komfort Trailblazer model T275S. It has aluminum framed walls and probably as good of insulation as you can get in a travel trailer. It has a fiberglass exterior covering, totally enclosed underbelly, and a one piece rubber roof with 12 year warranty. We have only been out three times so far but are very impressed with what appears to be very good quality and construction. We are impressed with what appears to be the fine detail in the interior. The only problem for some might be that it is built in Oregon and not sure if they even sell them on the east coast or midwest???? I would be someone on here knows though.
