The clerk was right and the manager only saw the easy way out by refunding your $2+ to get rid of you. Why would anyone think that it's okay to wash the front of their rig with the windshield squeegee.

If it would help, you should have taken the squeegee that you paid $2.70 for and been done with it.

I'm all about standing on principle, but sometimes you have to "know when to fold 'um" and move on down the road.

When it comes to principles, I will quibble if it is a dime. The idea that if it is cheap enough not to argue principle doesn't wash with me. If it is wrong it is wrong regardless of the cost.

what goes around comes around, you should have put your slides out and stayed the night until they gave you the ticket. two can play the extortion game just as well as one. although it has been said two wrongs do not make a right. Just the same I would have done it.

You should have told April you don't mine paying $2.70 for a squeegee, but you want a good one, not the one you just used.

too bad there wasn't a sign warning not to use a window squeegee on a grill. I bet it didn't say not to clean your tires with it either. nor not to wipe your oil dip stick on it. actually that was a pretty good price for a squeegee, don't complain iMHO.

one cashier, one problem, at one flying J, in how many years ?

you complained and you got the refund, the mgr handled it, problem solved, and this cashier will NOT be bothering the next driver,

let it be, it's over with

Will someone please explain what's the difference of dead bugs on the window or the front of the rig as it relates to washing them off. It won't damage the squeegee in my opinion!!! Much ado about NOTHING.
