I went out to do some cleaning and picking up this morning and a strange thing happened. I went to turn on the lights and none of them worked. I looked and saw the battery light on indicating that at least some power was there. I then turned on the water pump and it worked, I ran some water and it worked fine. Then I tried the stove hood fan and it worked fine. So I looked at the 12 volt fuses and they all looked good. I replaced the back light fuse even though it looked good. I then tried the lights again and nothing.... no lights worked.
Then my son came in asking what I was doing, I said trying to get the lights to work. He then pushed the pump switch off, and held down the same switch to the 'check' position that shows the battery and water levels. Then I turned on a light and it worked.
There was about 2 minutes between the time I replaced the fuse and tried the lights and then when my son pushed the switch and the lights worked. I don't get what happened, but if anyone has a guess, I would appreciate hearing it.... Thanks,

I would start by looking for a loose connection in the DC power distribution panel. Pay special attention to the grounds. The additional load of pump could have burnt through some corrosion. Many times, rigs have a wire nut connecting the grounds together in back of the power center check for this and make sure it is tight. You could take it apart and clean the conductors. If you do so, apply some electrical grease to the bare wires.
