Does anyone have one with a slide window that doesn' leak while driving in the rain. We put up with a leaky one with our last camper for almost 5 yrs. When we ordered our new camper we had the option of a solid window or a slider with screen. They assured us that they were now dealing with a new company and they had solved the problem.
So we went with a sliding widow, and guess what it leaks. The smart thing to do is to replace it with a solid one, but we really like having an extra opening for those hot humid days.

I know an easy way to fix your leak, don't drive when it rains Sorry Dick couldn't resist that one.

Aiden,
Before you do that, why not put a gutter over the window? Most of the water coming in probably comes over the top of the cab and slides down the front of the window. A gutter would probably dump most of it off the sides or drop it clear of the window. What'cha think?
Another idea is the new louvers they have for the side windows.see photo

Dave does that mean I get to use yours in inclement weather.

Fishwar,
I was thinking along the same lines. I just need to keep the water out of the track. The track is filling up and the air pressure won't allow the weep holes to function.

Now a days I never do, I don't think I'de fit!!!! But once upon a time my kids when they were little could pass from the truck into the camper thru the window. I miss those days.

I've had two campers, both with sliding pass-through windows, and neither one leaked at any time. I'm not sure that information is of any help to you, though...

Hey Dick you can use mine any time it rains as mine doesn't leak. The only problem is MOM won't like mine as it doesn't have one of those fancy breakfast bars. I sure hope someone can come up with a solution for you.

Ours does not leak and the carpet would be quick to let us know if it does as it would be soggy and moldy smelling and it is neither.
