Sweet deal!

I have my boat on the hard and lately I have been driving down to the boat yard and working out of my TC for my normal 9-5 job (I work from home normally).

With a laptop/wireless card and a cell phone I can plug in the A/C and work from the TC. Throughout the day, as my schedule permits, I hop out of the TC and do a little work on the boat here and there.

Too bad my work related travel isn't local. I would much rather drive my own truck and stay in the TC than some hotel room. It's surprising how spacious these things can be if it's just one person! I usually have to cram the entire family into it

Sweet job you've got there too, Captain.

seldom, great shot! You must have good fun with that Jeep!
Buzz, THX! it is a good job and pays for my trips and upgrades to TC and Boat.
Sfish...the office has wifi and it reaches across the road so i am in touch and that is how I sent this post.
1911..i'll check the battey in the daylight for ya!
Whazoo...GOOD POINT! I like it!

This morning was somewhat busy! I was having breakfast when one of the other Captains knocked on my door and told me the genset on the Destiny was steaming and they were switching to the OS and could I check things out. So I grabbed my tools and got started...it was going to be more than i could complete before my Noon run so I called another Captian on his day off and he came down...I handed him all the bad parts and off he went to Fisheries. I went to shower and change in the TC for my run. Captain Ron got back with all the parts and reassembled the raw water pump. I was loading pax when he asked me to watch the exhaust to see if the water was flowing..it did and it was better than ever before. So it was a bit of team work and we have the boat for the morning run on Monday. Then we called management and informed them that all was under control. WE had a beautiful day in Seattle and having all 3 boats in service makes any day beautiful, if you get my drift!!! Just thought you may be interested! Maybe, maybe Not! Capt PJ

PS I am home this evening and back to the boats on Tuesday morning in the TC...sure glad as the balck tank was getting fullish and the Seattle water is not as good as Tacoma. Doing washing and restocking the refer on Monday. The season is almost over!

1911...there is a label but no brand name...got them thru my Discount Battery dealer...it says AMG part number 8A27M, all I can tell you! They seem to be doing very well...3 days and they finnally went to one dot off on the Lance panel, still started the gen and ran everything at that point....I like them. Capt PJ
