We were cleaning out our Jayco 30FBS today and I noticed a section of wall between the kitchen sink and the door has scores of little raised "pimples". They are fairly resilient and when I push on them with a fingernail, like the one right of center, it leaves a dent in each pimple. Here's a link to a series of pics of the wall.

At first, I thought it might be the effects of mice in the wall (we had a gang of them move in during the winter) but if thats what it was, I would expect the mice to have chewed through. The only other thing I can think of is that this is the side of the trailer that gets the most sun and maybe this is the effect of heat buildup.
Anyone else have this happen to them?
Thanks...

I'm guessing adhesive failure of the vinyl covering or possibly delamination of the wall. I would send these pictures to Jayco.

I'd vote for water damage, but maybe in the very most minimal degree. It may be merely condensation in the wall that caused it, not an actual leak. Send it to Jayco Customer Service, call them first...574-825-5861...they will be able to identify it. Does the wall still feel firm?

That looks exactly like the wall in which I had water damage in my last camper. No one believes the little raised bumps are from water in the wall, but it certainly was on ours. Start looking around a bit more - maybe peel up the vinyl in a small spot under the cabinets below that area. Sorry.

You have had water infiltration into the wall and under the vinyl wall covering mold is growing and causing the bumps/pimples. Once you lift up the wallpaper, you will see the water damage and the black mold. Been there, done that.

Another vote for water damage. I had a similar problem and it was an external water leak.

Stick a pin in one and then give it a little squeeze, if water comes out, better start looking where its coming from, good luck.

I suspect the same as the others in the forum. Water damage. Sometimes it happens in houses too. I would think that it is possible that water has soaked the insulation, and that the highest contact points between the insulation and the wall has led to water concentrating and soaking through more in some places than others. The dimpling may be from the areas of most heavily concentrated glue that is holding the vinyl in place. The glue will expand more in some places than others, and cause that dimpling. There is likely to be mold behind it, because it won't dry out easily, and the spores will be able to grow happily in there and probably in the insulation.
