Before you replace the motor..make sure that the slide running gear is clean and not all "junked" up with dirt. Clean it and maybe even give it a shot of dry lube.
Make sure your batts are fully charged.

Also make sure you have the engine running. If you still want the motor this is the guy I got it from. rmv096@sbcglobal.net

He is in Southern California so would have to ship it to you. He might be able to drop ship it from Power gear. His price was just about 50% less then Power gear wanted. After he replaced mine with the new hi torque motor it works great, slower but no hesitation and even with the outside compartments loaded.

No I don't have a cheaper source, that was the price I paid also. When I called Power Gear they wanted almost $1,000.00 for the same part. I thought 1/2 price was pretty good.

I have an 05 Expedition, had the same problem with the dinette slide. It wasn't the motor. It's the SWITCH. I ordered a new on on line replaced and problem solved. Keep track of which wire goes where or you'll be playing with it to get it right. The switch had a bad spot and by repushing it it would make contact. I actually ordered two so now I have a spare for when it fails.

I think they are DPDT mini or micro rocker switch, you'll find a supplier if you search the internet. About $10 I think for both. Cheaper than a motor.

Here's the link to where I got mine. I have two slides on the same switch. If you only have one slide then you need the SPDT mom on/off/mom on. Which is in the middle of the list. Hope this helps.

It's the one on the bottom dpdt mom on/off/mom-off
