2 years into it for us and neither one of us misses the house at all. Marilyn occasionally misses her flower beds and I occasionally miss my shop. We are both delighted not to have to mow grass. Every time we see someone running a lawn mower it reminds us how much we detested that part of owning a yard. On balance for us there are a lot more positives to being mobile than there are negatives. The minute that changes we can change our lifestyle too so we aren't worrying about it. We've been looking at a lot of boats lately.

My house was a lot of work. I felt like a "full time" maintenance man at my home. There is maintenance on the MH, but pretty limited compared to the chores around the house and yard. I do not miss it AT All!

Our condo has been out of our lives for 13 yrs and no, we don't miss it or any of the other stix & brix houses we've owned. Never went back to any of them to look etc. They're just stuff.

Yes,,there are some things we miss with our S&B.
NO,,there are some things we don't miss with our S&B

Had we not sold, we would have missed most of the places we have been this past 550 days. It seems as if life is always full of choices, and we chose to give up a little to get a lot, and so far that's how its worked out. There may come a point where we decide to buy another but certainly smaller S&B, but so far that conversation hasn't come up, and until it does, we are out having fun, without the responsibilities of a S&B.

DW says no and I agree with her. We built our house from the ground up and added on several times. It was what we needed and enjoyed for many years. Finally, with our kids grown and gone, it wasn't big enough when they all came for a visit and too much for us when they were gone. No we don't miss it. This lifestyle is what we want now and our house with wheels is every bit a house to us. Inside, it is always the same but the view through the windows changes whenever we want. Some people retire to the seacoast, mountains, or maybe to a lake. We aren't so limited and can have all the above and more.
