Since getting our Roo in July we've managed to get in 19 nineteen nights at 8 different locations. Hopefully the weather will stay nice and we can squeeze in a couple more days. Every trip has been rained on, except Labour Day weekend. That's how wet our summer has been up here. But we still have a good time just getting away.

I play bass for a classic rock band "Level Ground Band" that has at least 1 gig per month, sometimes 2 or more. I'm also on a HazMat Spill Response team at work and 1 out of every 6 weeks I'm on call and can't leave home. But even with these other obligations we still have managed 21 days so far, with at least 2 more scheduled......and hopefully 2 more than that also. We'll see.
Then it's time to pink pickle it and put'er away for the long cold winter.

I have as nearly as many nights in a tent as we have in the HTT due to camping with DS and his scout troop. I have 14 nights in a tent so far this year and 19 nights in the trailer (14 of those on a cross-country trip to Yellowstone). We have at least 4 more nights in the trailer scheduled this year, and probably 6 more in a tent.
That's a lot better than last year when we were pretty much shut down due to DW's achiles tendon surgery that kept her home most of the summer and fall. I think we got the HTT out two weekends last year - the rest was tent camping with scouts.

It's seems the theme here is 'not enough nights this year'. That is the same with us. We did 31 nights last year, but only 19 this year. Part of the reason for us is that we flew down to Orlando in April for 13 nights. That was a $9,000.00 trip for us, so we had to keep our camping down a bit this year. Next year though, I want to get back up to that 30+ night amount.

49 (including other unit before the 2010 Roo arrived) and another 18 reserved and planned (cross fingers) and then planning but not reserved on cold trips (south texas winter) for maybe 16 or so)
Although NASA has a tendency to cancel time off with little notice (you're ready to leave for a week off and they say HELL NO YOU CAN'T GO, sighhhh)

Unfortunaltly we havent gone in two seasons. We bought a house last summer and it has consumed time/resources. I do plan to get out this fall. The best time as far as I am concerned. Cool nights, no crowds, great sights in NH.
