I discovered a leak in my cab over this weekend. I found a couple of soft spots along the seam and want to get it repaired.

My question is: Do I look for a RV tech or an RV body person?

Also, does anyone know of a good place close to Tampa for this type of work?

I am going to have them redo seal the other side at the same time.

Have a great day...
Terry

First camping trip this year, we found out we had a leak plus our refrigerator was having problems. We took our 5th wheel to an RV place where we were camping. The gentleman showed my husband how to fix the leak to save us money since we had to replace the refrigerator. You would need to take it to an RV repair shop and have them look at it, I would think. That is what we did.

Lots of places will gladly do it, but the labor charges are terrible. Camping World does this stuff. You might find doing it yourself not all that bad. Where are the soft spots?

It along the bottom on the overhang above the passenger door. It is about 2-3 inches long and about 1-2 inches high.
