I hope everyone had a great labor day holiday where ever you were…

Another really great week-end of family, friends, fun, camp-fires, good food, drink, great weather, entertainment and the end of a all to short season… (a dozen porterhouse stakes aren’t cheap any more)…

Plenty of activities for everyone, the little kids, teens, adults, seniors, and today even the dogs… one of the pools went to the dogs today, both wading and full sized pools… the clubhouse pool was still available for the humans…

Like all holidays there were the crowds but not as crowded as most labor days have been … the 2K race for local charities today was a big success…

Oh and I found out Elvis is alive and well… how do I know this ??? Well he showed up here and gave a two hour performance (photo evidence included) before our normal Saturday night band and dance (but held on Sunday this weekend)… his show is pretty popular here, but he has since left the building…

Things will become deafly quite now, with most of the planned activities winding down over the next couple of weeks...

We had a great weekend but it did rain most of it here in central Washington. But we did get to go to the Annual Roslyn Miner Festival
Great fun pictures of the event in our personal blog link below. Enjoy...

Just wrapping up four days in St. Ignace, Michigan. Spent a day on Mackinac Island, wife shopped Mackinaw City and St. Ignace, the topper was walking the 5 mile Big Mac bridge today with 50,000 close friends. Blue skys above almost waveless Lake Michign, Lake Huron and the Straights of Mackinaw. Great quiet campfires every night. Almost heaven!

Sat and Sun were perfect, but soaked twice Mon, once packing out, and again when we got home to unload. Worth every minute.

Yup, we haven't had much of a summer up here. But this weekend was really great. Temps in the 70's, hardly any wind. Camped with friends from the motor home club. Now the other foot will drop.

Rain starting tonight through tomorrow. Temps in the 60's. Before we know it, fall will be upon us. Even the Maple tree leaves have been turning the last few weeks. Wonder what this winter will be like....
