I was doing kinda a trip routing on the Good Sam in preparation for our trip this next summer. They show diesel at $5.75 a gallon!

So I went to gasbuddy.com and found an average of about 95¢ per liter. That times 3.785 (us engineer types like that 3 decimal place stuff!) comes out to $3.60 a gallon - which I presume is CA dollars. So that is a little over $3.30 a gallon U S.

If some of you up in wonderful B C see this would you please let me know what your diesel prices are for #2. And, if anyone sees anything wrong with my figuring also please let me know.

Thanks.

In our two month trip through BC, Yukon Territory and Alaska the most expensive DIESEL we found was $4.60 USD a gallon in Alaksa near Denali Park. We passed on that station and foundit for .75 less 30 miles up the road. MOST of the time prices were around $3.50 USD in both Alaska and Canada.

Thanks, that seems reasonable. Not sure where Good Sam came up with their pricing.

Remind me not to go to Muncho Lake!

Be at peace.

Diesel is 91.9 in my part of the Kootenay's, that was last Tuesday when I last filled up.
gas is $103.9 at the pumps today on the way to work.
There are three towns with in 45 miles and the prices can be 10 cent difference.

Hey, Soup, good to hear from you. And, God willing, next summer you get to meet us eyeball to eyeball.

And try to avoid fueling in Smithers, if you are using highway #16. All the fuel prices are higher there than towns on either side.

Diesel is 93 cents a liter in my area today. With the Canadian dollar rising again, it may get higher in terms of US dollars per gallon.
