How many channels? I had heard it was just a few so I didn't say or include that in my post. This same info about Direct is also true for the Northern part of Baja. But the OP is going to Guadalajara and he won't be able to pick up Direct.

romoc: We've been in Kino for the last three years and have been able to get all the channels we get in the states- including the premium channels. The signal is not as strong but satisfactory. We also got a signal in San Carlos. but that was about as far south that we could stretch it with Direct. Tony

StarChoice has been StarChoice for several years, has needed a slightly bigger dish for about three years. Before that the small one was all that was required, even deep into southern Mexico.

Star Choice is now Shaw Direct. You will not get a signal past San Carlos on Direct.
