I think I read somewhere that if you are in a motorhome and you are pulling a car, you must unhook it and leave it in the parking lot. Has anyone experienced this? I pull a car on a tow dolly, and that just doesn't make any sense to me.

I just read an article last night that stated they had a special area to unhook your towed car.

We stored our dolly at our campsite. However they want it on the concrete pad. So it was disconnected and stored mostly under the rear of the MH. they actually have an un-hooking area for toad's on the road between check in and the loops...

After you check in and begin to proceed to your site, there is an area for you to pull off and unhook your toad. From there, you can proceed to your site.

After checking in and getting your site assignment, there is a pullthru area on the way to the campsites where you need unhook your toad. Your car can be parked at the campsite as long as you can get it out of the road and on the concrete pad area - same goes for the tow dolly. However, if they will not fit on the pad with your rv, then you can leave the dolly and your car if necessary at the front parking lot. Some of the loop roads are fairly narrow and it is not a good idea to allow your car to intrude into the roadway. Alot of folks do leave their tow dollies in the parking lot as we do with our trailer for our golf cart. If you leave your dolly there, you need to get a (free) permit tag at the registration office. We always carry a chain and lock up our trailer and many others do as well.

The pull off site is a good idea they had..its the only place I've ever seen with one. As long as it can fit you can have one car along with your motor home in your site.

You can keep your car at your site if it fits.

We had no problem fitting our 42' motorhome and tow equipment on our site. No one even question it.

We barely fit on 1903. With our trailer behind us we're around 60 feet long. Trailer tires were slightly off the pad, and a Disney employee came by and told us we didn't have to move that time but not to do it again.
