My son was about 4 the first time he saw frost on the trees. As I was taking him to daycare, he asked me what the white stuff was on the trees.

Now in truth, they do know what snow is as they've seen it on TV. But the first time they actually saw it was when we visited Buffalo, NY and they saw the stuff piled up in the parking lots.

Now we did have 6" one year that pretty much shut down the region for a week.
