I can't believe that I am being brave enough to post this recipe BUT...I served it up to my hubby....and he 'said' he loved it..but no real proof..as he loves me and so he can't be trusted ...
So served it up at the deer lease (doubled the recipe) and them there redenecks were scraping the bottom of the crockpot
So feeling confident at this point...it was my contribution to the camping group potluck...
Oh they definately loved it...told me so and asked for the recipe..so hopefully ya'll will enjoy the same
From happynanna @ www.recipezaar.com
24 ounces sun-dried tomato alfredo sauce (I had 16 ounce jars and used 1 1/2 jars)
1 (20 ounce) package frozen cheese ravioli
1 (10 ounce) can Rotel tomatoes & chilies (do not drain)
2 teaspoons minced garlic (can use more or less)
1/4 teaspoon italian seasoning (add more if desired) (optional) (I used it the first 2 times and completely forgot the last time for the potluck)
kosher salt
fresh ground pepper (forgot this all 3 times but don't think it would've hurt nothing to add it)
parmesan cheese (okay I splurged on this part...and used freshly graded parmigiano reggiano)
Directions
1Spray crock pot with cooking spray. (I used crockpot liners)
2Spread enough sauce to coat and cover the bottom of the pot.
3Add frozen raviolis; spread around evenly.
4Add undrained can of rotel tomatoes.
5Spread the rest of the alfredo sauce over raviolis.
6Sprinkle with garlic, italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
7Sprinkle parmesan evenly over the top.
8Cook on low for 4 hours (if your crockpot runs hot check at 3 hours).
9Serve with additional parmesan cheese.
EAT UP !!!
