This is only our second summer with a TT. We had the Sunline last summer. For winter: I removed almost everything and give it a good cleaning. I didn't want things like linens to get musty. I feared cleaning products may freeze and leak so removed them and of course all food. I cleaned the fridge and left the doors open to air. All windows were left cracked for some air circulation. The same thing will be done with the new Zinger this winter.
We take out all food items and empty the medicine cabinet. Leave in linens, etc. Also leave in all cookware, dishes and plastic glasses. We do the dryer sheet thing and have never had any problems. Had not heard about mothballs before, but would think that would be a good thing. Here in the "snakey south, the TWRA recommends them for snake deterrent, so maybe would also deter other critters.

Oh' wait, are you meaning to pack it up for the winter, and not for camping... I see... Well, in that case I can't help you... Because winter to me just means empty campgrounds! lol ;-)

Me too. My camping season is just GETTING STARTED!
I guess I'm like the others that end their season when the temps drop. Working on the m/c is the winter hobby. We take out all food, open the fridge and shut it off, take in linens, sleeping bags, blankets. Basically leave chairs, tables and hardware in. Nothing that is bedding or food for the little nasties. I do put out ant and mouse traps, poison, etc.
