Just curious.. and not sure of the legality.. but when travelling and pulling the TT, it is much more comfortable to take a nap in the
TT while the wife drives. Any one else do this?

How many trailers have you seen wrecked? How many motorhomes wrecked? I'm sure folks sleep in those big class A's as it's going down the road. What's the difference? Sure, sleep in it. My only concern would be the wife driving....lol.

If you have ever seen the aftermath of a TT involved in any kind of collision or rollover, you would never consider sleeping in one while in motion.
As mentioned, it is dangerous and simply a bad idea in addition to it being illegal nearly everywhere.

I can't imagine that the ride in a TT would let you sleep. The back bed in my MH is too bouncy for me going down the interstate at 60 mph.

They'd have to give ME Chloroform to get me into a moving trailer. It would be against the law in any RATIONAL state though there are a FEW like KANSAS (where they once tried to pass a law making it necessary to use seat belts on a motorcycle), where they DO allow riding in a travel trailer. go figure

Hi lynndiwagon,
Sleeping in an Class A or C is an entirely different kettle of fish that sleeping in a travel trailer. A TT is far less stable--and if there *is* a problem unless the passenger has a walkie talkie there is no way to contact the driver.
It's not safe, and it is illegal for very good reasons.
