Is there anybody that is pulling a Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer? I am looking at getting one and want to hear from anybody else that has one and uses theirs as toad. It is within my RV's tow limit so I am not concerned there.

Thanks,
David

We did it for years with a 93 Eddie Bauer Explorer. We had to have the Remco disconnect installed. It worked great. I don't know about the newer models; what needs to be done to tow them four down.

When you are shopping for one keep in mind that AWD is not towable four down and selectable 4WD is.

You will need to get a driveshaft disconnect lit from Remco, etc.

Don't know about the newer models but we towed a 1998 Explorer without problems (four wheel drive, not all wheel drive) after having the dealer reflash the electronic transfer mechanism.
