Check out my blog back in January 2009

Outdoors With Sportsman Matt

I'm waiting for a set of Glen L plans to show up, and once they arrive, I can build a cross between the Popular Mechanics Camper and the Glen L camper.

So far I've been through 4 pads of graph paper, 2 pads of legal paper, and 1 ream of printer paper, and still in the planning stages.

On the plus side I did order a combo Stove/Sink unit made by SMEV of Italy. Should be here in a week.

Life is short, Play harder.

Here's a link to a blog by someone who build his own Glen-L camper.
http://homebuilt-trkcamper.blogspot.com/ Maybe it will have useful info for you.

I obviously can't put my truck camper in the back of my 56' ford show truck so I'm building a pull behind that will suit that truck. It will be a little bigger than most teardrop trailers and look like a giant ford emblem. I've got the frame and walls done, here are my concept drawings.

Personally, I'd consider starting with a Four Wheel Campers shell.

Put a curving tube on either end and it would look like the Oscar Mayer Wiener-mobile.

I normally don't put my hot dogs in a ford emblem, but thank you for sharing how insightful you are.
