Watching this series in HD is the next best thing to being there. I'm really enjoying it. More coming on tonight. Maybe I'll be able to enjoy it first-hand next year...fingers X'd.

The great thing is that when it gets a little "preachy" (which it did last night), you can mute it and still enjoy the picture!

Saw the first episode & plan to watch or record the rest - but haven't heard the schedule. Anyone know if it's going to be every night this week, or some other times?

I watched it and programmed the DVR for the remaining issues.

Beautiful scenery, but I would have liked a little more background explantion of why each locarion was selected as a national park.

Our 10 yo begged to stay up late and watch it. Of course I let him watch that. I watched it with him and we both really enjoyed it.
