Our trailer is a 2004 and appears the faucet fixture in our tub needs replaced. We have owned the trailer for about 2 months and have not used the tub so the other day I decided to test it. When I pull up on the stem that diverts the water from the spigot to the shower hose the spigot does not get sealed completely reducing the pressure to the shower. I'm thinking of replacing with one that is for shower hose only and skip the tub spigot. OK, question is, does the faucet assembly remove from the tub side only or do you need to get behind the back side of the wall? If I have to get behind the wall then I have to remove the fridge. Regardless of the access, I will be doing the work but I'm just trying to figure out the involvement.
Mine pulls into the tub area for removal. My supply lines in the wall are only fastened at the bottom of the wall so they are flexible enough to carefully be pulled through the holes in the tub enclosure.
cnt tell you how to remove it, but i can tell you to go to camping world and invest a little more and get a brass faccet with bigger holoes in it. works wonders for the shower. also get one of those showers that they advertise oxygenic. it makes big difference.
