When we ordered our motorhome, my wife selected all the materials for the interior,.....tile, carpet, fabrics, woods, bedspreads, mirrors, lights, etc.
We also had Newmar built a couple of custom pieces of cabinetry.
We NEVER saw a stock interior, at a show or dealership, that satisfied our tastes (not in a Dutch Star, anyway).

It should matter to YOU that you're still tethered to Microsoft.

We changed out all of the Aunt Ethel's parlor look in our Arctic Fox. Now it's more of a rustic lodge theme. New floors, new window treatments, new hardware, faucets. Ripped out the dinette as well. I have some screw holes on the wall where we removed it. Probably will cover with a rustic beadboard style wallpaper. It's been fun, but not cheap or fast.

Got pics?

Wow. Beautiful... and perhaps even more importantly, so much more practical. My favorite thing about these reno's and that they are done by people who *actually use* their rigs, relieving the rigs of those items that fall into the "what were they THINKING?" from the factory.

All of these things just ooze personal style and attention to detail, don't they?

We just started re-decorating our new OLD 98 5th King of the Road. I was going to save the toppers on my windows and recover them. We decided we wanted curtain rods. We will be going denimn with antique furniture. We took the table out. Hubbie is fixing my grandmas game table. The rest of the furniture is from our home. I'm using a 1930's print for the kitchen window. I needed the trailer to remind me of my home that I was leaving. We will be painting the walls this spring and changing out the slide ceiling covers. I agree with you..The new trailers aren't me. Maybe in a couple of years I'll change my mind. I hope to soon have before and after pictures.

Please post them here, TXNana, when you get them. I am set to get notices when someone puts something on this post and don't want to miss seeing them!
