I downloaded the trial version and then thought I was sending a route to my Garmin 465T but it only sent the waypoints/favorites. I was sending via the USB cable and yes, I did select the second option of sending the route. So, looks like I will continue to use GPSBabel since it works correctly and sends the route. So just another instance of MS saying they have something when they don't.

2007 Hitchhiker Discover America 339RSB
The trial version is fully functional. When you buy S&T you just enter the Key Code when you start the trial version and it will register it and remove the 60 day limit.
Also, it should send routes to any Garmin that handles routes. The 465T can store 15 routes.
You can, however, export as a GPX file so that is a way to get your route to your Garmin.
Well I just went through downloading the Garmin plugin only to discover that my Etrex Vista CX is NOT supported. Oh well there is more than one way to get routes into my Garmin as well as my Tomtom.
The 465t is not on the list of supported devices for MSN Direct transfers. See the supported devices list.
Export the route as a GPX file.

Gary, You are correct, I discovered that last night and it works perfectly. Just hook up the Garmin with the USB cable and export the route directly to the Garmin.
