We have a 3 slide 5th wheel. Any tips for cleaning the window blinds? They are the double ones with the privacy curtains. An absolute nightmare to take off and put on. The valences won't come off and you have to reach "way up" underneath the valence to pry out the whole blind. Any ideas folks for easy cleaning (hopefully while still in place)?????

Not any help for cleaning in place. My valances have screws and brackets and with an electric screw driver it's still a chore. I just take mine out and use a weed sprayer filled with Simple Green and hose them off. Takes most of a day to get them all out, clean, and back in.

How do you keep the pleats in after you have sprayed them? How does it affect the room darkening part of the shade?

He probably has venetian blinds, not day night shades, therefore he can spray them.

i had one restrung last winter, the man said to keep the crease nice, pull them down and use spray starch. Push up and let them dry. He said that will work well..I didn't try it cause mine are just fine..
As far as cleaning, he said to vacuum, which I have done.
