If anyone has an unlimited carfax account could they PM me a report for 1GBKP37W8E3320211 please?
I've searched the Web and found lots of places promoting a free carfax report but every single one of them has been a con - they give you a free sample report for someone elses vehicle.
$29.99 for a single report but they sell the unlimited service at $39.99 - go figure
If they knocked them out at a reasonable price of say $9.99 then I'd have no complaint but I really object to their 'bait & switch' tactics across the web. Hey come get a free carfax report - and then you find that's a free 'sample' carfax report.
People who have the unlimited accounts are able to check an unlimited number of vehicles - if I had one then I'd be only to happy to oblige a fellow RVer.

stevelv - I've seen a request like yours before on Escapees.
Folks are more than willing to help a fellow RVer (and did).
Over here - on the forums with the SMILEY FACES -
it's rotsa ruck, get your own . . . . "neighbor"!!
Steve.....
Yes, I know what you are talking about, and I was trying to be "cute" with my response.....thought the smiley face got that across...Ha ha!!
I actually think it's great that people can help each other this way.
We've gotten the "unlimited" on a few occasions, when looking for a car for the kids, or ourselves. Didn't know it was good for the MHs too, but that's good information for the future. But, like you say, it's good for about a month, if I recall.
Of course, with CarFax, you still have to take it with a grain of salt.
We had a mini-van that was in an a pretty significant accident, though the airbags didn't deploy. A year later, when we were looking for a car for our son, I decided to punch in the VIN for the van, which had been repaired, and there was nothing listed about the accident.
From then on, I may still check the car, but don't trust that the report is all inclusive.
We, as an automobile dealership, offer free Carfax reports on all of our vehicles. The shopper simply clicks on the "free Carfax report" logo & it brings up the entire report. But even we have to pay $10 per report. Any dealership worth it's salt will offer free, click-on Carfax reports. If they have something to hide, they probably won't. We find that $10 is a small price to pay to allow our potential customers access to as much information as is available on the vehicle they're researching.
That being said, if you're looking at a vehicle offered by a dealer, request the report from them. If it's from an individual, you're on your own.
Do bear in mind, however, that Carfax reports are not infallible. They will ONLY show accidents, for example, that have been reported to the police. If somebody backs out of their driveway & hits a mailbox, or runs their car off the road in a single car mishap, these will never show on Carfax. Still a good idea to have any vehicle you're considering purchasing inspected by a mechanic and a body shop you trust.
Good luck to you.
The MH has a branded title that states that the odometer has flipped past 99,999 miles and so allegedly has 147,000 miles.
However, when you review the registrations it shows
09/23/1991 7,648 California
05/04/1993 13,600 California
05/09/1997 26,288 California
05/11/1999 36,231 California
02/04/2002 38,746 California
07/13/2005 40,326 Arizona
In 2005 it was given a branded title for exceeding 100,000 miles
And I purchased the vehicle recently showing 47,000 miles
so I wonder whether that it ever managed to do 30,000 miles a year for 3 consecutive years?

No state "brands" a title for excess-of-100K odometer readings. Branded titles are only for salvage vehicles. You may want to look further into the matter.
