He is probably right....someday it probably will...someday.

When that day comes, the minimum wage will be $300/hr...

and Chicken Little predicted "the sky is falling".

I've also seen the price drop after so-called "experts" have said it would go up.

Mr Pickens is an irregular guest on TV business channels. If you actually listen to him he is for multiple forms of energy usage. He really wants to make the US energy independent using all means available, wind, solar, natural gas, nuclear, coal and oil. He is a real high on using natural gas to propel heavy duty vehicles, which would include motorhomes and heavy duty pickups.

He has also been promoting a new automated electrical grid to get power from the central US to the coasts. I'll just say those that suspect his motives can do it, but at least the man can get oil and gas to the refineries. I'd rather be on Boone's team than any old politician's. It wasn't a crime to make a profit, but I'm beginning to wonder with the attitudes of some.

I thought we took back our country in 2008

No one has any idea how much oil is actually still available in the ground. New discoveries are made every year and have been for the last 200 years. What makes anyone think it will be different in the future? Until someone comes up with a cheaper fuel that is readily available we will continue to use oil. There is absolutely no reason for us to buy oil from our enemies as we actually have no idea how much is under our own soil or coastal waters.
