The bathroom fan in my Ragen was controlled by a switch mounted on the screen. It worked fine except you had to go back and turn it off, which means it could run for hours and suck up fumes from the tank. Not a big problem, but the fix was easy.
I installed a timer switch, about $12, they are made for 110VAC, but that doesn't matter as the timer is spring loaded. In my case there was no convenient space behind the wall or in the ceiling, so I just made a small wooden box for surface mounting.
Now I just turn it on for a few minutes and forget it.

Why not just turn it off when you leave the bathroom? I must be missing something important here.

I never turn ours on until after the toilet is flushed. That way, no odor is sucked from the tank into the interior. Our fan is two stage, high for odor clearance, and low for fog clearance while showering.
And a timer, of course.

While we're on the subject.
I replaced our noisy fan with a 12v fan from an old PC. It's not as powerful but we can't hear it so we tend to use it more and leave it on longer.

You should probably leave your fan on for at least 20 minutes after taking a shower. I leave mine on longer to make sure I don't have any issues with moisture buildup in my RV.
I've been eying the 120v fan timers at Home Depot. The last time I was there, they were all on clearance but the one I wanted was still more than I was willing to spend (only for the white one - the other colors were all cheaper).
