Ok so I've been reading a lot on winterizing and I have a quick question. First off here is what I plan on doing. Draining water heater, black, gray, and fresh water tanks. Now here comes my question, after I flip the bypass water valve on my water heater tank I was wondering if just pouring the rv antifreeze into the fresh water holding tank, then turning the pump to have it circulate through the pipes would do the trick?

Thanks

Yes it will work, but you will probably need more anti-freeze than just pumping it straight from the jug.
Also, in the spring, you will have the added task of flushing the anti-freeze residue from the fresh water tank before you can use it.

I'd pump from the jug.
and don't forget to open the low point drains before you do any of this and let them drain.

Usually I get a winterization kit which allows you to pump right from the jug into the lines. You would need an awful lot of antifreeze putting it into the tank and trying to suck it out of there.

Hmmm, I did it last year on my TT and it took about two gallons before I started to see pink coming through my lines. I'll try the winterization kit this time and see how I like it...

That's how I do mine. However, I'd add another step. Before you start the pump, open your low point drains and all sink and shower faucets. Start the pump and close the low point drain as soon as antifreeze begins to come out. Run inside and close each inside faucet as antifreeze begins to come out. Flush the toilet until antifreeze comes out. Remember to also turn on your outside shower and let it run (both hot and cold) until antifreeze comes out. Then pour a cup or two of antifreeze into each drain for the traps. The only part of the system this might leave unprotected is the line from the city water intake to the pump. Some units have a drain valve on this line or you can just unscrew it from the pump and drain it.

don't forget to add some antifreeze to your black tank also. It should never be left completely empty of any remaining solids will turn to rocks and be next to impossible to ever remove.

Also if you have an Ice Maker fridge you need to winterize that line and drain the water shutoff solenoid or it will crack. I learned that the hard way.

You can't be serious - you have an icemaker in that Mountaineer?
