Hi,
We will be flying home to Seattle from LA for Christmas and are looking for a good, safe, inexpensive RV park to leave our RV while we're gone. We don't need all the bells and whistles, just a place to park our 38' triple slide. Any thoughts and ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Gail and Mike
It would be helpful if you could say how long you expect to be gone and how far you are willing to drive to park your rig. Also, whether or not you are a member of the Elks club.
We plan on being gone from the 20th to the 29th and we don't want to have to drive too far but willing to drive a ways. No we are not members of the Elks Club.
Good, Safe and cheap in Los Angeles does not work.
Pomona, Calif has 2 campgrounds that might work for you....1 being the Fairplex KOA and the other being Eastshore RV park. These are about 45 miles to LAX airport, 20 minutes to ONT airport and maybe 45 minutes to John Wayne or Burbank airports.
Another alternative is around Disneyland. We use Orangeland RV Park...but again price is a problem.
There is a RV park in Malibu, CA which would be closer to LAX.
Dockweiler State Park is located between the end of LAX's runways and the Pacific Ocean. Can't get any closer than that. Don't know if you can leave your rig un-attended though.
