I sit here and read about many of you putting your campers to bed for the winter. I feel like we are a part of the luckier crowd. Even tho, we are still working, we get to live in the fifthwheel and go where the pipeline leads. We have seen lots of things and done lots of things that many, many folks never get the chance to see or do. I fee very blessed to be able to live this life in this country.
God Bless America!
Our summers here are very short - sure wish they were longer. And to add salt to the wound, we didn't really get a summer here at all this year, just September was nice. So yes, you are indeed lucky - have fun out there!
We've already had a hard freeze here in the Texas Panhandle. Came early this year. I did get over and blew all the water out of the lines and antifreeze in the pee traps. I'll add Rv antifreeze as I get time. Sure hated to do it.

Keep on rollin' arizonadesertbrat! Definitely the way to do it. While my family isn't fulltiming we try to hit as much as we can on weekends and weeks at a time when we can. Fortunately we don't have too much winter downtime here in the SE. As a matter of fact we'll be setting up the fiver lakeside for 35 days starting Friday and it can't get here fast enough! WInterizing is also far from our minds as this is the best time of the year for us. Beautiful fall colors and great temps. As soon as we wrap up our stay at the foothills of the Blue Ridge mtns we'll go down to the lowcountry of SC outside of Charleston in December. (Skeeter free December!!!!!)
