Startracks makes only custom built to owners specifications 5th wheel. Customers include Motion Picture Studios, Promotional Companies like Pepsi and Yamaha, NASCAR, Formula Racing, Celebrities, etc. Note the 50 foot toyboxes!

More Startracks stuff, mobile command centers for disasters or police, dual full wall slide motorhomes, mobile medical units, disability rv's, etc.

The Carriage Royals look great... especially the one that has window in the top of the living room slide! However, all the larger omes have the same split bathroom issue.

Thanks,
Dave

The Startracks trailers are pretty cool but I suspect getting something totally custom made would be a little extreme. Thanks!

For those that are interested in a DRV product, they do customize. Check out these links:

DRV 1

DRV 2

I'm still looking for a post that describes one couples customization of a DRV, things they wanted that were not normally done and picking and chosing parts from various models. They are very accomodating folks.

We've had our MS since May 07 and made 3 cross country trips, coast to coast, and numerous shorter trips. Just finished an 8500 mile trip to deal with a death in the family and all went well, no issues with 5er or TV, 9.4 mpg at 25K #'s. Have had the usual small issues, that get fewer and smaller with the 5er, nothing that was a show stopper.

Enjoy.

Check out www.snakeliner.com. I don't think it's legal in the U.S. 59' long, 16'4" wide with both slides extended; almost 1,000 square feet of living space. Granite tile and counter tops, spa tub, optional helipad on the roof and Zodiac boat in the basement. The absolute coolest thing though, is the dual steering axles. Of course, with a near-million dollar price tag, you should be getting the absolute best. :-)

Spacecraft will convert a 53 foot semi trailer for you and build about anything up to that length. They are currently building my own 44.5 foot 5er. And they will make it as fancy as your wallet can stand or just a simple as you want too. Total custom builders.

Drv does have a 43' tri-axle and while at the Suites Rally in June we got to see them and yes they do have rear bunk beds and a rear office floor plan. Drv I can say without a doubt will work with you in designing you a wonderful 5th wheel. And they build a well built 5th wheels. We special ordered our 2010 Mobile Suites in June and everything was done as ask for. Don't know about the other brands that have been mentioned. But for the price I don't think you will get any better built 5th wheel today. I have looked at some 5th wheel around the $200,000 + or - and don't think they look any better or built any better than the Drv Suites. We you get over 43' your getting to a point your RV parks will be limited. But then again if you have the money, go for it and be HAPPY thats all that matters. Life is great. GBY...

P.S. Its wonderful to have choices, but I believe the future will bring a lot less choice. Sometimes Change isn't good.
