jetenbu wrote: You guys who say it is just one tire need to look again. There is no way there is a truck or trailer tire that is that big. It has to be 2 tires. They are even on different planes in the picture. Let's ask the OP if he sees 2 tires under there. I bet he does.....
My money's on two spares too.
Before I read any further I'll say two also. Way to big for a pickup tire!
Don
Better read my above quote Don. He already looked, there is only one tire.
LET ME TELL EVERYONE WHO DOUBTS ME,THERE IS ONLY 1,COUNTED MYSELF,1 SPARE TIRE.ITS ROUND,NOT SQUARE,NOR IS IT OBLONG AND IT IS JUST THE RIGHT SIZE,NOT TO BIG OR NOT TO SMALL,JUST THE RIGHT SIZE.Wow,I never intended to cause such trouble and division among all us rvers. Now can we all just get along?LOL,at least it sure gives me a kick reading about it all, kind of makes up for the wet you know what I got a few days ago to look myself.Yes the picture made me look at it and man do I wish I did have 2 spare tires but there is only 1 spare, round, just the right size tire under my truck.LOL,ha,ha,ha
If its Friday, see ya on monday.Have camper, will camp.
Man I could come up with some choice phrases for those who have been, maybe still, disputing your word, with nothing to go on but your picture. BUT these forums are one place our "Freedom of Speach" gets overriden by a few "moderators".
Actually I think the "Angle of the Dangle" condition/distortion is responsible for a close up of the OTHER air bag is what is seen. I know, I know one could say "See the tread edges". but consider the mold lines in the closer air bag! If those guys can't take your word, then they won't understand this either.
I can realize my self that since the stuff is under there it will bennifit the ride even tho it is not used for what it was installed for. SO Hitch Up N Take Off! There is So Many Places, So Little Time!!

RE_ 1 or 2 tires?
Its a natural occuring optical illusion that fools most peoples eyes!!
AT what would be the forward edge of the single tire we are only seeing the bottom portion of it--
and at the rear edge of the SINGLE tire the bottom portion is hidded behind the square tubing of the air ride / hitch brackets so we only see the top/upper part.
This fools the eye/brain into thinking we are seeing TWO seperate tires on 2 slightly different planes--.
Its a picture that could be entered into a guessing type contest??
