Buddy is looking at a 28ft Royale Classic 'C'..it's Canadian rig...which is appropriate..it's here in Canada and there's a problem.
The valves and lines for the tanks are all very exposed but of more concern, the lack of height from the ground to the valve cluster. Also, the grey water tank, located curbside has the outlet under the tank and then a very exposed line crossing and joining into the cluster for valve control.
The thought is...to raise and protect the cluster (it's only low to allow for the drainage angle on the grey line) cap the underside of the grey tank and put side mounted drain line on the grey..and putin an in line 12v water pump, allowing the line to be higher than the existing, and connecting to the raised cluster. This will reduce exposure of the valves, and the grey water line.
Thoughts on the in-line pump or any other part of the idea?

I have begun to blog.. .www.gary haupt.blogspot.com. It's not about RV'ing...but RV'ing is a part of it.
Might look at an in-line bilge pump for a marine application. Grey water could have debris in it which will not transfer through a standard in line water pump.
