We hooked our Directv tivo receiver up to the front TV and got a picture.
We moved the same receiver to the bedroom TV and got nothing. We checked the signal strength and it showed no signal on the rear TV. We have a coax cable connection that the tivo box was hooked into (just like the front one) but can't figure out why we are getting no signal on the rear tv.
We have a video control center (that we have yet to either get working properly/or figured it out) Do we need to be hooked into that, or are we supposed to be able to get a signal on both tv's with just plugging into the coax cable?
I realize with only one direct receiver we won't be able to get a signal on both tv's at the same time.
Thanks for any suggestions.
WIth one receiver, you can get a signal to two or more TVs at the same time, but all TV's will have to watch the same program.
You have to send the antenna feed to the rear of the RV and then to the receiver. Your problem is in that connection at the front of the RV. Try making a positive connection with a cable connection (connect the antenna cable and the cable running to the rear bedroom with a cable connector and bypass the switch box you are trying to use. Satellite antennas don't like gadgets inline between the dish and receiver.

Another question. We have the receiver hooked up to the rear tv but now cannot watch the front tv. How do we watch both (understand we have to watch the same channel with only one tivo box) tv's at the same time?
The receiver is hooked up to the rear TV.
DH thinks we need to hook the receiver up to the front Tv and get some kind of splitter to allow a signal on the rear tv. Do you think this will work?

You can split the output from the Tivo with a standard cable TV splitter and watch the same channel on both TVs.
If you want to watch different DirecTV channels on each TV, you will have to hook up a receiver for each TV. To do that, you need a separate coax feed from your dish for each receiver. I have a PDF diagram of how I did it in my coach. PM me with your email address and I'll send you a copy.
