Looking to purchase low temp sensor that would trigger table light when heat goes off in the house. Know they are out there but I'm not able to locate. Have one now that triggers the phone but doing away with land line.

Thanks, Jim

They're in common use on farms and ranches to turn on heat to pump houses, cattle troughs, etc. I found this one at Tractor Supply for only $12.98

Cool, I am gonna get one of those babies to turn a red light on in my window. That way the neighbor can glance when he drives by to see if something is wrong with the furnace.

The poor neighbor happens to be a youngster, doesn't realize how it is to be older than dirt when I trudge off to FL and SC in the winter.

I have one that is hooked up to my alarm system, but you do need a phone line. Considering that the unexpected always happens I would not be able to sleep worrying what if the bulb burned out on the light! To me its worth the piece of mind and not having to winterize the home.
