Hey, for all of you thinking about going to Mt. Rushmore with the group next year, please pm me with your intentions. The tentative planned dates to be in the Mt. Rushmore area are June 30th to July 6th. As soon as I hear from the preferred campground, Rafter J Bar Ranch, we will start making reservation.
For my family, I am extending the trip to Yellowstone before Mt. Rushmore.

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week. Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Pokey", died peacefully at age 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started...
Larry, You really made my evening. That was the most stupidest joke I've read in a long time. Snicker Snicker. Doesn't take much to make me laugh.. By the way, we were out your way for a wedding reception on Sat the 7th. We thought of stopping after 8:00 PM but thought you might be in bed. Probably laying there thinking (dreaming) of some good jokes to tell on the internet. Ha Ha.. Anita
Those of you who like country music. Don't forget Wednesday evening is the CMT Awards . Can't wait to see if Kenney Chesney wins. My hereo. I'd pee my pants if I ever got to see him in concert. What a singer. I'm betting that Taylor Swift will win them all. Nothing beats "She thinks my tractors sexy'. GOOD NIGHT. ANITA

We have been to 3, count 'em, 3 of his concerts. Starlight in Pa, as well as Heinz field, plus one other. Good concert. At Starlight, during the warmup act, Kenny mosied down the aisle right next to us on his way to get a beer at the concession stand. Only problem is that at the start of the concert, everyone stands up and blocks the view.
We are always up for some good chicken at the Buena Vista. And you know you are always welcome to come here. Just give me an hours notice.. Some people have all the luck. I'm wondering if he sounds good in concert or just on the radio. I've always been a big fan of his. Mick's not to crazy about him like I am. He likes Rock -n-Roll. To each his own.. Wouldn't it be just a coincidence that a rally would take place near a Kenny concert. Oh my God Tina, I think we need to do one. Hint Hint Wink Wink Anita
